Im guessing its fuel pressure...... Its a flaw of a check valve inside the tank. It doesnt hold pressure when shut off. Turn the key without cranking the engine 3 or 4 times to see if the pressure builds up and then start it.

Check fuel pressure first. This is also symptomatic of a failing crank or cam sensor.

A failing sensor can be diagnosed by turning the key on until the dash lights up, then waiting for several seconds before cranking. This allows the sensors to initialize and start functioning. Sometimes works, sometimes not.

On the fuel pressure, try a "Poor man's prime," by turning the key on and off several times, priming the fuel rail multiple times, before cranking.
