no drive just noise!!!
hi guys need all your wealth of experiance on this one, have googled this for past week.
Bought my98 grand cherokee 4.0 lpg a year ago, awesome on uk roads, head gasket went few weeks ago, upon inspection had hole in piston no:1 so swaped out engine for second hand tested one with 60,000 k, all was fine but when i go from park to any gear i get a chinging / grinding bearing noise so been unable to drive since new engine checked gear oil and every thing, even when i select 4wd high/ low from N same noise and no drive am stumped
