my 2017, when i push the button nothing happens, tried starting with remote, no crank. what is the first thing to look for?

Start with the battery. Turn on the lights and see how bright they are. You may just need a charge.

 

Are you the O/O and is the battery also original? A charge may help temporarily but your battery likely is beyond end-of-life.
Note that continued use with a weak battery may overstress other more expensive electrical system components.
