Default newbie couple of ?s

Hello all im a completely new jeep grand owner. I have a few question/ concerns...maybe someone can offer some advice...

I would really like to fix this myself as I would like to be more knowledgeable about my vehicle...i have seen some posts on this already...my a/c is blowwing out hot air. I don't know how long it has been doing so as i have only been driving it for a day...i was thinking of getting one of those can rechargers or should i take it to like a valvoline? I have no idea how much this would cost...

Also after idleing, braking at a like or stop sign, the brakes catch but when releasing to accelorate, there is some creaking. Its not grinding, but i just want to make sure that it isn't anything serious...

My last truck was the worst experience has scarred me so i may be overreacting...if anyone can help...thanks!

The brakes are acting normal, take the Jeep to an A/C shop and have it repaired correctly, those recharge kits are a waste of money if you don't fix the leak.

My brakes on my 98 have always made that noise. 8 years now it still does it.
