Default New tires on my WJ

I searched for my original post to see who exactly it was who recommended I buy the General Grabber AT2's. Excellent choice! I'm in love with these tires. I was looking for a really good snow tire that I could run all year without too much wear because I don't have the $$ to buy wheels to swap for the summer. When I looked at them, the salesman said they are actually rated as an all-season tire. They must be very popular because they were nationally backordered for 2 months!

I believe my benefactor was either Ol' Blue or Bustedback. Thank you very much!

The tire store called me when they came in and I went down there within the hour. The place was mobbed! The sky was that deep mottled gray we call a "Snow Sky" and everybody was panicing about not being prepared. These tires bite like a cat with sharpened claws. I did run through about 3" of heavy wet snow with no problems.

Again, these are General Grabber AT2's 245/70R16's

Glad those tires are working so good Dave, but it wasn't me that recommended them.

I don't think it was me that recommended them, but I'm glad you like them.

Got one. Don't use it anymore. Seriously, I've got a Samsung Tracfone. Don't need anything else. I've also got a Canon AE1 SLR with 2 lenses that is just about worthless today although the rig cost me about a grand when I bought it. I went to see about trading it in on a new digital and was told they'd give me $25 off. Big Whoop! When I think about the rolls of film I put thru that camera on racing, camping, and wildlife I get sick! I was so into photography I had it mounted on a rifle stock with a long lense and I'd go deer hunting.

You may not know it, but I'm 68 years young. Young at heart, but the body"s betraying me. I'm lucky if I can walk from one end of Walmart to the other without stopping at least once. The knees are shot. Probably from all the dirt biking I've done.
