New radio
I am changing out my sock radio for a pioneer, I wired everything color to color correctly except for a yellow and blue wire. I have no idea what it is for or where it goes. Every other wire matches up with both adapters expect that yellow and blue one, help!?

Yellow is usually the memory wire and it hot all the time, blue is the amp remote turn on wire, don't need to hook it up if there is no amp.

Well it's yellow with a blue strip, I do have an amp, came stock with the type of speakers I have, should I tie that in with my yellow wires or somewhere else?

Old fart with a wrench
On the stock radio, there is a wire that dims the display when the headlights are on. Most aftermarket radios don't have this feature so as long as everything functions properly, don't connect it.
