Hello Everyone-

I just purchased a 99 Cherokee Classic with 169k for my daughter. It's in pretty good shape and checked out real well. I did a tuneup (new plugs, wires), Cold Air Intake-home made, and had rear shocks put on. I do have a few questions though.

I had the guys who installed the rear shocks check everything out and the previous owner maintained it well. U-Joints are in great shape, little to no play and fluids have been changed recently, but, when turning into the driveway, I get a clunking and a little shudder. Could this be bushings or ball joints?

I'm starting to get a little bit of surface rust just below the doors. I was thinking of cleaning it up then using a bedliner paint or Por-15 to cover it up. Any thoughts on this?

Question from the wife: What's the difference between the Classic and the sport?

Concerning the Sport vs. Classic...my State Farm Rep says no difference in frame, curb weight, engine and 2-wl drive.

I also just purchased a 99 today...In great Condition.

classic and sport is just a int, package the bedliner i think looks great it you dont go over board with it or to high up the door and the clunking not sure maybe bushings
