Did these cars come with alarms from the factory? (96 GC Laredo.) I touched the door handle in the parking lot and an alarm started to go off, but I do not have a remote or anything to turn it on/off. I disconnected the battery and it stopped it but if I reconnect it, it comes back on. I am kind of in a jam right now posting this in a parking lot lol, any suggestions? Thanks

try using the key to unlock the passenger door or the rear hatch if that dosent work keep trying the other doors good luck and watch out for rent a cops in the parking lot

Cycle the key in the driver's door that will reset the alarm. GC's also have intermittent problems with the alarms. Mine used to go off randomly. You can cycle the key in the tailgate three times and it completely resets the system.
