Default need some opinions...

so the wife wants to know what i want for my birthday at the end of the month and im not sure what to tell her. she said the budget is about $250 but id like to keep it around $200 because i hate when she spends money on me. so far the jeep has some kind of lift (had it when i bought it and the lady knew nothing about it, looks to be just springs and shocks and is about a 3-4") but no other supporting suspension upgrades. brand new tranny and a freshly rebuilt motor, already have **** like roof rack, lights, brush guard etc.

anyways after that long winded intro im leaning towards suspension upgrades but am open to all opinions, let me know what you think!

How about an aux trans cooler if you don't already have one, and a clutch fan for additional cooling? The one best thing I did to mine was add vent visors to all the windows so I could leave my windows open about an inch and not have rain get in. Also, you can leave them open for vents on a hot day and nobody will notice.

Bilstein is the way to go, but they're $80 each at Summit for a 4" lift. Probably the best use of the money. That's for a simple monotube shock, nothing fancy.

My 04 WJ is stock and I bought the Bilstein shocks for it and still rides very well, I have them on my XJ as well and for a mid range shock hard to beat like Dave says.
