need some info for lift
My buddy has a 97 zj with 3 inch budget lift he wants to fit 33s we hear if u use jk or xj front coils and move ur stock fronts to the rear it wil provide about 4 inches of lift and clearance for 33s is this true and are jk and xj front coils the same height. He said his and tj,s are the same in the front?

Zj,xj,and tj are the same front end. Not sure about jk
Front to rear is 3.5
But you still need trac bars, and control arms and a lot of trimming
I'm at 4.5 and I did minor trimming and took my front bumper off to run 33s ....rims are 15x8
Going to 15x10 soon

You dont NEED 4"s of lift to fit 33's.
33's on my zj with NO lift...only rubbed when turning and hitting a bump.
And as it sits now with a 2" BB...doesn't rub unless you hit a very big bump.

3.5" lift, 34" LTBs, stock control arms, adjustable trac bars front and rear. Minor trimming on bumper in the front and pounded pinch seam back. Only rubs when flexed at full lock.

You can make any combo fit with a sawzall and a BFH, but every single noob doesn't know what a bumpstop is and therefore needs 8" of lift to fit 33's...

No because u rather do that then to do it right but u did not do that either u just cram ur **** under it so u think it looks cool but is worthless. U may like ur worthless jeep but most people like jeeps for thier off road ability. U defeted the purpose. Not only did i tell u we dont want to chop it up but u want to keep argueing this. I started the thread asking about how much lift i can get from moving front springs to rear being he wants to propperly run 33s. I did not ask can i chop up my nice jeep to run them or can i shove them under it to be just like u and defeat the purpose of having a jeep so thanks for your worthless and retarded suggestions. "Newby,s" obviously make u look like a dumbass that u are.

People are just trying to give you some suggestions no need to start abuseing peeps. From what I'm told this whole lifting thing and large tires on the jeep has been asked once or twice. You started the thread by asking a question, which is a good thing since we wont know if we dont ask, but did you try the "search" option???? I hear that's the latest site tech thing, it has to be because very few peeps use this function.....to include you.
