Need help with my 97 grand cherokee!~~!!~!

Need help with my 97 grand cherokee!~~!!~!
Hey guys I need some mad help and advice here!!! 
I just bought a 97 Grand Cherokee Limited with the 4.0L about a week ago. But ever since I got it, its been having rough starts when its cold it takes about 8-10 cranks until it starts, so I changed the spark plugs, wires, and cap (rotor was fine).
Surely I thought that was the problem... but no it still does it. Only when its a cold start may I add, when its warmed up it starts fine.
The battery has a sticker on it with 6/09 on it and I just put new battery terminals on it also.
And when its cold and I turn the key to try to start it like a diesel (where you let the glow plugs warm) and it'll start with only needing about 4-5 cranks to start up.
Everybody so far has told me its either the fuel pump or fuel filter. Just would like to know what others have to say or think it is.
Somebody plez help me out here Im in a hole!!!!
