The newer springs are a bit of a puzzle. The shocks were my idea when I bought it a couple of weeks ago along with complete fluid changes and new brakes. The rear upper and lower control arms were my mechanics Idea and they were indeed in need of replacement when he got them off.
The rocking side to side is slight but feels somewhat not normal as I recall from my riding in my buddys 2009 GC. I am going to check the shock bolts and mounting as I used the old shock bolts but have new ones now to replace them.

What size tires?
I replaced tires on a Silverado with the next larger size, and it handled like poo-poo.

 

Replaced all the shock bolts and it seems to ride a bit better. What was the purpose of the tapered bolt?
One thing I noticed was that the bracket hole on the upper attach fitting was larger than the bolt. It did not look like it was elongated just a somewhat larger hole. I was wondering if the upper bushing was supposed to fit through the hole using Mopar shocks.
I am running standard tires both front and rear.
