Default Need help in determining lift please

I purchased a 96 grand with the PO claiming it has a 6" lift. I had not questioned it because it vib'ed like crazy on the freeway until I installed the SYE and new driveline. but now that I am looking to modify the front control arms I question what is really there. I have stock upper arms, but aftermarket lowers and plan to switch the lowers to flex joints so I don't tear out an axle mount (yes, it happened). The axle does appear centered over the wheel well but with that lift and stock uppers I would think the axle would be set back a little. I know this is the stock section so my question is can someone do me a solid and take a length measurement of their front spring so that I may compare it to what I have? I am thinking that comparing spring length is the best way to determine what I have unless someone has another suggestion.
