Default Need Answer ASAP!

I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 35 12.50's. I want to regear it so it gets better gas mileage! What gears should I use and how much would it help my MPG???

4.56's, but the D35 may not hold up to 35's and gears for too long if you wheel your rig.

if its a V8 I would do 4.56's, if its a 4.0 I would do 4.88's. I like my 4.56's but when its loaded up with gear I wish I did 4.88's.... (I have a 4.0l)

just my opinion, but 4.56's should be fine either way.

Better after a regear for sure, but still not as good as with stock tires and gearing. The regear will make up for the larger tires and keep the RPMs close to what they were in stock trim, but moving the extra mass of the larger rubber will hurt the MPGs.
