Ok, so I have cleaner the IAC, the Throttle body. Replaced the CCV, used Seafoam in the oil and gas and degreased the engine. The low idle is still an issue, though it is not so pronounced as it was. The issue I am having now is a lost connection. I noticed this connector hanging from the engine. It has a long cord/wire and seems to originate from the fuse box under the hood (hard to tell with all the wires wrapped)

Any ideas where this plugs into? Sorry the photo is blurry.

My guess is that it is probably for an option your ZJ doesn't have. I have a few of those under my 95 XJ's hood.

Thanks for the suggestion. Checked and that is not it. Could it attach somewhere under the Jeep? I will check there tomorrow. Right now it is raining and I don't need a mud bath.

Any more suggestions are appreciated. It may turn out to be an extra part, but I want to make sure.

Can you give us a larger pic of the area around this plug? I think I see a cruise control accuator there, but I might be mistaken.

It might be for the coolant reservoir sensor, but you may not have that option.

That would make sense. I am getting a low coolant warning, but have plenty of the stuff. The reserve tank on the left of the engine has a connector on top of it. Where does this one connect to?

If that is the small motor connected to the TPS, then no. That was one of my first guesses.

Is this connector on the driver's side or the passenger's side. Could be the vapor canister purge solenoid.
