I am lost and looking for help on my 04 Grand Cherokee 4.0
I have been troubleshooting and search forums for several days now and am not finding the right answers. Now I'm resorting to throwing things and drinking!

To start the Jeep started flashing the check engine then died. Towed it home and checked the codes, found the ASD fuse blown. Replaced it and started but ran rough. Giving a P0353 coil code. Pulled the coil and found t hat I had no spark on 3&4. Picked up a coil and a salvage yard and hooked it up... no spark on 1&6. Ordered a brand new coil and hooked it up...no spark on 3&4. Deciced it was the CPS. Picked up a new BWD sensor and installed today... no spark on 3&4 AGAIN!! I have also checked wiring for breaks and rubbing. I am lost on where to check next. Any help would be awesome, thanks!

 

Hi. Maybe I'm wrong, I have only experiences with 96, but I would check the distributor cap and the rotor. After it change the sparks and the spark plugs.

 

No, czettlera, his jeep has a coil pack that bolts to the head and completely covers the plugs.

Sorry Keith. I haven't a clue, but I'm thinking. I'm not going to insult you and ask if you've checked the plugs, right?

Just for grins, check the plugs on you PCM.
