Multiple misfire help? Ecm gone bad?
I got a 96 grand Cherokee 4.0 it had been having a once a day bogging out then was fine the rest of the day today I was driving got a check engine light code 43 so I pulled them with a scanner said multiple misfire cylinder 1 2 3 5 and pending 6 but it's running good still I took it by a local shop and they said from there experience that I needed to replace my ecm or the coil any advice be great I don't want to mess nothing up or put wrong part on

I would also said that two, but before start spending money, you should check the connectors of the pcm (clipped properly, no corrosion) and the distributor and the rotor, maybe the spark wires and plugs.

had same problem swapped out disturbitor plugs wires cap rotor coil nothing bought new cps from dodge bam problem solved it will cause no start if it dies but if its starting to die or something hit it or rubbed on it can cause mutiple misfires
