I haven't a clue what you're talking about.

Seriously? I'm asking about the headlight/turn signal switch mounted on the steering column, also referred as the "multifunction switch."

I have one, brand new for an 04 wrangler. It came in a Mopar fog light kit. If it's the same switch, you can have it.

Yeah, okay, it was late at night and I was tired. Sorry. If it's like my '00 WJ, you remove the steering wheel cover to get access. It's held on by one phillips screw on the bottom, then pry the two halves apart. There are molded catches on both sides. Then I believe you need a torx screwdriver to remove the switch.

I've been hearing on these models you don't have to remove the steering wheel..........that's why I'm confused. Just hate to dive in, oh well I'll find out. Thanks

I'm 45 minutes west of Watersmeet.

Again I misspoke. I meant the COLUMN cover that's right in front of the steering wheel. It's soft plastic and only mounted with one screw on the bottom. The top half and the bottom half are clipped together by molded hooks.

Default UPDATE

The two halves covering the column were the only thing I had to remove to gain access. The entire job took around 15 mins.
However, upon opening up the two halves, the multi switch basically fell out, the electrical pin connector and two mounting screws were loose, so it was becoming undone. Tightened it all up and all is good.

On a 2006, that shows poor assembly at the factory!

This entire vehicle has been nothing but a headache since the day we brought it home, ign. switch......replace, oil sending unit............replace, multifunction switch..........redo, no cabin air filter (gotta buy the mount from Chrysler), single mount (oem design) hood strut that won't hold the hood open, no transmission fluid dipstick, and now it needs a new rear axle pinion bearing/axle overhaul ($1100.00), pretty sad if you ask me.
