MPG in EVIC

When the EVIC in my "made for Canada" JGC displays MPG, is it showing miles per US gallon, or miles per Imperial gallon?

Should be able to set it to either one.

Don't think so. I can set it to MPG or liters per 100 kilometers. I see no way to set the MPG to US or Imperial.

You are correct. I just looked at mine.Thought it was imperial, it's not. it is the same as yours.

So, I answered my own question. By switching from US to metric I was able to determine my average fuel consumption is 20.5 MPG or 11.4 L/100K. Doing a little math shows the MPG is in US gallons. The equivalent to 11.4 L/100K in imperial gallons would be 24.6 MPG.

The MPG shown in my Canadian market EVIC is in US gallons.
