2004 WJ, ok so when I used the 'mist' function or intermittent on the wipers they will stop randomly throughout the range of motion. I have to time it just right to stop them at the bottom of the windshield like normal. Any thoughts on the problem? Oh I already swapped the relays with known good ones, did not fix the problem. Thanks

I believe you have a "parking switch" problem. GM is noted for this. There is a switch in the wiper motor transmission that detects when the wipers are "parked" at the end of their cycle. If this is the problem, they won't park after you turn them off during normal operation, like when turning off the key.
