manifold gasket, use some liquid gasket to?

I have read some place to use hig temperatur silicon gasket togheter with the gasket on the manifolds. Should i use something or only the gasket?

we do this at our toyota garage(mrtoy.com), but you must be sure to use a very thin layer about 1mm thick spread evenly, let set for 5 min or so to make sure when you go to tighten the bolts that the silicone does not squeeze out the sides, we have taken apart motors where ppl use just way too much silicone and it just a very bad job

I did not use any sillycone when I did my intake/exhaust gasket, no problems or leaks, just make sure to torque the bolts to spec and in sequence.

They dont use it from the factory, so I would say no, unless u use a lil to hold it.
