Default Magnum and LA engines

Hello! I’m new here and new to the Jeep world. I recently took my 96 ZJ out to the off-road park and everything was all good until I ended up on the wrong trail and the front of the Jeep was under water. Long story short the 5.2 now has a small knock. I have a spare engine but it’s a LA block and not a magnum. I’m trying to figure out if I’m able to use this block and use it in place of the magnum. I know I have to modify the heads but I’m not sure about anything else

There is some good info here. http://www.magnumswap.com/using-la-parts-on-a-magnum/
However if I was in that situation I would take the opportunity to put a 5.9 in it.
