Yesterday had to jump start my grand Jeep Cherokee Orvis 1998, she spluttered a little, had trouble maintaining 1000 rpm so had to keep revving her, still ended up stalling again but did start up on her own but when re starting my son yelled to switch her off as what seemed like all of her entire gas tank had emptied out onto from the gas tank at the rear of the car sure enough the engine no longer read full but less than 1/4 of a tank! Suggestions please.... Tessi

 

Cracked or loose fuel line allowing it to all be pumped out on to the ground. I think that is what you were saying.
