Default Low beams don't always work but high beams do

I don't currently own a Jeep, but my family has gone had 2 in the past and I really like them. I'm selling my Ford Ranger and am going to get a Grand Cherokee and the one I'm looking at in my town right now is a 92 V6 with 185k miles. The guy says it's mechanically sound and it's only issue is that the low beams don't always work but the high beams do. Has anyone experienced/heard of this issue? What's the fix? He is asking 2500 but I don't know about that.

They never had a Grand Cherokee in the '92 model year, and they never had a V6. If he's the one who told you that then obviously he has no idea what he's talking about and I wouldn't buy anything from him.

Regular Cherokee's didn't even have the V6 after 1986. If he thinks it's a V-anything then it would be the V8, which would make it Grand Cherokee Limited.
