Lost all power functions when jeep is turned off
I recently had a very dead battery, had to be towed and had a new battery installed. But since then, my dome/map lights do not work when the car is off; with remote lock and unlock, the headlights do not flash; the remote panic button doesn't work; the horn doesn't work with the remote lock or unlock; the warning buzzer doesn't sound when you leave your lights on when exiting the car, etc. etc. So it seems that I have lost all power functions when the car is off. This is a 2000 Grand Cherokee. Does anyone of any idea what my mechanic did or did not do??
Thank you!
Thank you!
Actually, now that I am thinking about it, the only thing that works when the car is on would be the dome/map lites. The remote panic button, the signal of the lights flashing and horn sounding when you press the remote lock/unlock still don't work. The warning buzzer that you have left your lights on or your keys in the ignition doesn't sound, but would they if the car was left running? Do you have any thoughts about this? Thank you!

Check your grounds under the dash and things. You have power to things. The jeep does run. So its a lighting issue. I would start by checking wires. Not fun. But best place to start. You could get a meter and test everything through the fuse box as well. that would be easier.
