I have a set of 3" lift springs for my '93 ZJ that I intend to install. Although I really only plan on this being a temporary lift, I dont know how long it will actually take to get the lift set up I am thinking about having as the final set up. I was told that with only a 3" lift that the springs would be all I would need and should be okay with just putting only them on. I had in my mind to just get new shocks anyway since I would be there anyway and figured I might as well make sure im not "short" changing the range of having taller springs on. My question is, do I NEED to replace the lower links to have the lift function without causing an issue? Or is that only if I get shocks that allow for more drop? And I have also seen a bracket for relocating the front track bar? Thanx for any help.

Looks like we are on our own with this one man. haha! I would like to just go get a 4.5 long arm kit and call it good but that is down the road and I already have the 3" springs. I got some more tlc to give it but Im just gna throw em on and see what I get. I know the stock shocks can be used with a 3" but it doesnt do any justice to the lift because it limits the drop of the axle. Maybe by the time I get to it somebody will have chimed in.

im not sure if you NEED links or not, but you will need that track bar relocation thing, unless you want to do some drilling
i dont think you will be able to go with out longer shocks, the most you can go with stock shocks it 2" mabye

I went with 3" spacers and longer shocks. Didnt move the TC or the track bar,but I will get the bracket for the track bar eventually. I dont think the TC needs moved with a 3" lift from what I have been reading on here.

Track bar will be fine, the tires will be about 3/4" more the the drivers side on the front and same but opposite on the rear. You will need longer shocks tho. Stock arms are fine up to 4"

This is all good to hear. Makes working on a budget feel better
I dont normally like to just "make it work for now", but if it isnt going to mess anything up I can handle that for a year or so untill the 4.5 long arm system happens.

As soon as I get all the kinks taken care of. Oh wait, I forgot its a Jeep. Any time I guess! haha! T-Case swap first, and lift right after. Thats the plan anyway.
