I'm at the point were I'm ready to lift my Cherokee. I want to do the front to back swap then put 3" springs up front. New shocks are needed I know. I was told shocks were they only things needing replaced and everything else would be fine, will I run into an issue with that extra half inch in the rear from the swap? About to order parts help would be much appreciated....thanks

Please please please use the search function. If you can't find the answer to the question with it you are simply not trying hard enough.

I've always heard you're limiting yourself if you don't go with extended brake lines, control arms etc, I would lift it and see how things look and see if you need brake lines, I figure I can help you out because that is the main use of this, if you ever have questions get ahold of me ill do what I can

Thanks, yes the point of a forum is to talk to others and help each other out. I've been searching but I'm confused on the 3 inch area, some say nothing has to be done but then others do. This will be for every day use as a dd, maybe drive it threw a field to a pond or something , no extreme trails or flexing. So for me is the track bar a absolute must or will it be fine and I can upgrade down the road. And lower arms are ok as well ? I see them get replaced but like I said people on here say there fine at 3 inches.

A buddy of mine did a f>r swap with tj 3 inch coils and f250 in the front for 5-6" and he used stock arms and everything and just relocated his shocks, but you should really just probably get shocks, if you are looking for a cheap option try out yj shocks or something

You wont need a rear trackbar to get it on the road. The rear axle will track about 1-1.5 inches to the pass side with factory bar. I just cut my factory trackbar, centered the axle and spliced and welded in a piece of tubing. I was only saying that I dont consider the lift kit "complete" without addressing the rear trackbar/axle alignment.
