Default let my girl drive and now...

I went wheeling for the hoilday weekend and let/ made her drive a couple trails and she is hooked but also wants to lift her grand so we can go together. Looking for a decent 3"-3.5" lift thats not rough country.

Cool! When I first read your title, I though you were going to blame her for breaking it! LOL! Another convert is a lot better.

Ok, what's wrong with Rough Country? Personal experience, or is the stuff "they" say?

Never really liked their stuff and way to many horror storys about stuff breaking and their customer service/ warranty. Its just my personal preference.

The stuff "they" say should be taken with a grain of salt. I have a Rough Country kit on my ZJ and I'm happy with the quality of the kit. I did call them with a question and had a good experience. Maybe their reputation was not so great a few years ago, but I think they're really trying to turn that around. Shop around and find the best kit within your price range, good luck.

My only other question is for 3" do you need lower control arms? I have seen lots of kit without control arms.

Not at three inches, but the stock arms are so cheap and flimsy a set of arms is definitely an upgrade worth doing.
