I"ve recently purchased a 1994 Grand Cherokee Laredo 6 IL, 4.0 L. automatic.-
I would like to know what should be the oil pressure at idle RPM, and for instance at a speed of 60 MPH.- It has Canadian Cluster. Whatever, any info would be appreciated.- Thanks ¡

The Canadian Cluster indicates the pressure in Bar
Barometric pressure
1Bar = 14.4lb
If your 4.0L is fully warmed up.
At idle, about 1/4 of the scale (25 psi +/- 5 would be a nice pressure to see)
When running, fully warmed up, 50 psi +/-10 would be nice to see, about 3/4 of the scale
Your pressure will be lower on older oil, higher with fresh oil and filter change
For longevity oil and filter changes are the best maintenance to keep up with.
Enjoy your 94 ZJ!

Thank you Peep ¡¡ I"ve changed oil yesterday (Castrol GTX 10W-30) following owners manual instructions. Its weird, my gauge is always at full pressure, as soon as the engine is on.- Have to search what is the failure....
