Laredo 2015 emergency brake handle not releasing

Laredo 2015 emergency brake handle not releasing
We have a 2015 Laredo, and the emergency brake won't release. Car turns on fine, but can't drive because of this issue. We do not have the EBS- Electronic Brake button on the center console, so I don't think that is the issue. Any advice?
