key fobs
Hi - I just picked up a jeep grand cherokee laredo, 1996. I'm pretty sure I can use a rke but have no fob.
I see alot of fobs on the internet but all say you need to bring it to the dealer to program. Is there a way to obtain a scan tool to do it yourself?
I've been doing some research on the internet and it appears that its a mystery.
Whats the deal?
Thanks,
-JC

It must be done by the dealer. The dealer wanted 65.00 to program one for me when I thought about buying a spare fob........I don't need a spare that bad.
