sounds like you have enough info to do the job, If you are not confident in your abilities from that, then maybe you might consider paying someone and watching. It is a very easy to do job but can be a bit of pain to get the bearing hub assembly off, as they will rust in, and if not careful you can pull it apart and then your looking at spending more cash to get a new one.

the knuckles do not need to come off. remove the brakes, remove the axle nut, remove the three, 12-point, 13mm bolts holding the wheel bearing in, and remove the wheel bearing assembly. the axle should slide out the through that hole. you may have to use a wrench and a cheater bar to get the bearing bolts loose. if the bearing is stuck in the knuckle put the bolts back in most of the way and give them love taps until the bearing begins to move. then you can get a pry bar in there to work it out.

Check out these sites...Here it the index with the list of things he has. There is a great one that uses a bolt to pull out the axle. I know this is for u-joints but it will give you a good idea of what is involved. It is fairly easy to do.
