Earlier today I was pulling apart the aftermarket fob I have for my GC, only because it's an aftermarket system that includes remote start, and sure as hell the damn thing broke, having dropped it more than a dozen times in the last few years or so I would figure.

SOOO, today I replaced the batteries in my Jeep key fob, and well, it's a 50/50 on this thing working. I've pulled it apart a few times, nothing broken or missing and new batteries in the fob. I've even gone as far as standing next to my Jeep pressing the "unlock" button on the fob and it took damn near 9 times to get my Jeep unlocked.

Any clue what this is or maybe a bad radio signal?
