iro track bar problem

Default iro track bar problem

hey guy's, i ordered a iro double sheer track bar & im haven some trouble screwing in the adjustable end into the track bar it's self, it will go in maybe 1-3 thread's, not sure if i should force it or not... any 1 have this happen to them??

It should turn in by hand, there's a possibility that there is a small imperfection or debris in the threads that is blocking it. Try spraying it with some lube/oil and give it a good turn. Or get a wrench on it and go easy on it. Try inspecting the threads with a flashlight

What he said. Give it a few easy tries. Worst case call IRO. There's always a chance they messed up threading the pipe or they got it bad a didn't know.

Guessing you figured this out already but I had the same experience. There's just some debris or paint inside the threads. The gold coating on the rod ends adds a little resistance as well. For anyone wondering spray a little rust buster or dw40 on the threads. After 2 turns it will sick. Use a big pipe wrench or something with leverage and turn through the rough spots. It will clear right out and become hand turnable again.
