IRO OTK ZJ Steering - Great
Just a FYI for anyone in the market. The IRO OTK kit is amazing. Took 2 hours to install and drives great.
Just wanted to share, I was worried at first.. haha

Oh yeah, it is much firmer than stock, although my stock system was failing fast.. The install is fast and simple as well. I just drove it over 100 miles out route 4 East in CA on its first drive since the lift and steering and everything worked great. Props to IRO!

I've got a 98 ZJ 5.2. When I'm in driving in slowly to turn into a parking spot, my power steering cuts out and it's a ***** to turn all of a sudden. A lot of the time it "shimmies" like a lights on/lights off power steering assist.
I bought this Jeep a few months ago, so I have no history on it. The power steering fluid is full though and appears to be clean.
Been thinking of a power steering flush, but if that doesn't fix it I'm not sure what I'll have to have a shop rip into or even how much it'll cost.
I'm not offroading it yet, but I figured if I have to buy a replacement why not upgrade.
