I have a 99 grand cherokee. Recently the interior lights have taken to staying coming on when entering car, staying on during journey and, fortunately, going off a few minutes after the car has been locked. Can anybody help?

 

Check the ground sensor in the door jamb. Its a little tab that goes in and out with a rubber boot on it.
