mine is around 500k and still going. she sounds like a diesel but she still has plenty of power!

 

195k here and still going strong without a prob

 

2000 XJ- 137k
1989 XJ- 161k
1988 MJ- 214k

All mine still run strong. The MJ has a bad rear main seal. I don't think the engine burns any oil.

 

170k in my 95 ZJ (averaging 20.5 MPG), 220k in my 90 XJ (averaging better than 22 MPG).

 

262k here, haveing problems with it over hearting, 90 model with the closed system for now, hoping to swap it over soon

 

366,000 miles on my 89 cherokee... no joke. it is timeproof

 

my 97 has 186+k on it and it still runs very strong. I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a long trip.

 

put it this way.....you will have tranny probs with that thing way before any engine probs!!

my xj's orig 4.0 died at 190k...after pulling the pan i know why...previous owner apparently didnt know you had to change the oil!!

i have had a few 4.0's over 250k running strong. just make sure to replace the rear main when it starts leaking....should be soon.
