Replacing working factory head unit in 97 Grand Cherokee Laredo (Infinity Gold) with aftermarket JVC head unit, using the JVC manual and a Crutchfield diagram to sort out the wire colors. I get power, but no sound. Searching here I've read that I need to connect the "remote" or some wire from my head unit to a remote or some wire on the GC to turn on the Infinity amp, but it's never clear which wires. Some have said I use a white wire from my head unit to blue on the GC, but my white wire goes to the left speaker. My GC has two big leads I would recognize as antenna leads -- is one of those power to the amp?
