Smile I just "stole" this 98 ZJ....

Not really.

This black, 98 4 door JGC, has 5.2L 390 V8, full time 4X4(HI/LO), power everything, moonroof/sunroof, heated black leather seats(no tears), 4"lift(unknown make), 235/70R16 on factory Gold 5-Yspokes, and more! pictures will be uploaded soon.

216,XXX miles, and it fires right up, idles like a new engine, runs/pulls strong, it rolls straight down the freeway @ 17mpg, and i keep saying I "stole it", because i only payed $1000!

I'm an automotive guy, and gave it a full check over, before i bought it, and more in-depth after I took it home. All i can find wrong is a bad coolant sensor(replaced), broken tie-rod end(replaced), on board Check Engine Manager?? says bad rear tail light(I've read here that its the bulb sensor that is throwing a false alert), low voltage circuit O2 Sensor(bank1?) and a leaking power steering pump(still turns strong).

My plans for this ZJ are small. It's already lifted so I will only maintain the vehicle, Wheels and Tires(30"/31"), a full front brush guard, maybe an Offroad bumper(available winch), and a CREE 50" Curved Lightbar (http://www.protuninglab.com/50in28sp...d=140849710138).

Please chime in and help me with some of your superior knowledge of Jeeps, as i'm new to this wonderful machine! anything i should know about suspension and steering wear with the lift kit.

Thanks Ryan

I would skip that light bar its only a ip67 which is water resistance and a combo beam light pattern. You want one ip68 which is water proof and if you want it on the roof you want it spot beam only.

why do you say spot beam only for roof? I had a curved flood, spot combo on mine with no problems. Just curious.

Im not really planning on any major off road excursions. Occasional off road use and a fun to drive weekend badass beater jeep.

I compared this item to an identical $750 Oracle Light.

It really is more for looks than use, but it looks like it will work well for my purposes. We have some family in southern Ohio, that live in the "hollers". They take tractors or ATV's to the gas stations half of the time.
The nearest grocery store is 45min down the freeway.

The flood light part of the light will give you hood glare,And above your head should be spot lights flood lights belong lower then your head.

Have you had first hand experience with one or are you just repeating what you read on forums?

Sure, fog lights are meant to be low, to shine under the fog. With that being said, I have a 52" curved/combo 480W bar, and I have ZERO, I repeat ZERO hood glare. ZEEEEEROOOOOOO. I have 160 degrees of light for hundreds of feet. Who wouldn't want that?
