I can use my A/C switch as a backup throttle!!!
I was parked in my driveway this evening getting ready to run an errand. Started the ZJ, turned on the A/C and all of a sudden my RPM's shot up to 2K for about 10 seconds, came down then up again until I turned off the A/C. I got on the road, turned it on again and the revs were at about 1500 RPM. I started braking and had a bit of a hard time as the RPM's would not go down from 1500. Turned off the A/C again and everything was normal. I also noticed that no cool air was coming out of the vents and that the compressor was not kicking in. Any ideas?
