HVAC Actuators ops check
OK, i had no heat from left or right side. But a/c worked, just not frezing. Codes said too large travels. Pulled HVAC off but blend door shafts not loose. all other acuators have external stops exept the blend doors. I know for certain that pilot blend door actuator rotated whe in operation. Seems that the stops have broken off of both the left and right blend door acuators. any one know voltage for ops checking actuators? anyone else have busted stops? All others look good. Thanks

Well,Just for information, nothin but a dc motor and gears inside actuators. A 9 volt works them just fine. only thing that seems out of the ordinary is the stops on the blend door end caps, broken off.

Actuators have waaaay too much torque. since it's snapping off the stops, I'm gonna try an experiment. Installing metal pins in the spindles at the stop locations. pins r same diameter as stops so should work fine. if not, well.............i'll get new housing, or door/spindle kit.
