Default help needed!!!

Hey, im having a problem with my zj had it in the garage for almost 2 weeks and they couldn't find the problem and they cleared the codes and it started. It was good for a week and now it did it again, lastnight i went to start it and it wouldnt go but it did after awhile and today it happened again but it wouldnt start so i pulled the terminals of the battery to reset the computer and then she started up and i turned it off a few times since and it starts perfect. Any help or suggestions would be great.

No power to the coil would mean either a broken wire, blown fuse, or a bad ASD relay. No pulsing ground at the primary side of the coil means either a bad CPS or cam sensor.

its been running perfect for the last couple of days now so i dont think its a broken wire or blown fuse, maybe its the relay but i think it might be the cps. I'm goin to try changing the cps and see what happens.

You should replace the pickup coil (AKA the cam sensor) too, cheap and easy to do.

had the same problem with my 01 WJ. It would run fine for awhile, then out of nowhere, it would not start. No clicks, no lights, no nothing, as if the battery went dead. When i tried to jump it, the POS terminal wiggled when i clamped the + jumper cable clamp on it and the hood light came on. Curious, so i went inside and turned the key, it cranked over and started as if nothing was wrong. Oh, BTW, I never did connect the jumper cables to the other car when this happened. The CEL came on, but I didnt have a OBD reader with me at the time, so on the drive home the CEL went out and hasn't come back on since.

So I cleaned the battery terminals, really, really good, never had it happen since.

hope this helps.
