HELP! Handbrake wont stay engaged
Hi, can someone help me please. The hanbrake on my 1998 XJ wont stay up. When held up it holds the jeep but as soon as i let go it drops. Obviously all the cables underneath are fine and dandy. Took the centre out and can feel it clicking up the teeth when pulled up but just wont hold. Release button seems to be working fine too. Any ideas? Thanks

Cheers pal, took it all apart and found the piece of metal that lock into the teeth to hold engaged had snapped off. got a whole handbrake from the breakers for £10 so not to bad at all. thanks again.
