Default Heating issues

i only get heat out of the defroster, and the vents. it wont blow out of the floor. what is the issue? lol i checked under the engine bay and cant find anywhere im losing an vaccuum i checked by essentially spraying the whole engine with starting fluid and never heard the engine rev up at all. where else could i look

Sounds like another blend door problem.

There is a vacuum resrvoir built into the bottom of the battery tray, start there and follow the vacuum line all the way to the engine looking for rotten hoses or broken plastic tubes.

I've got a simlar issue, I only get heat while moving lol. When I'm at idle or parked it just blows cool air unless I'm giving it gas.

I think my water pumps leaking too, so maybe it's related.

yes it is related check your coolant level. fill it back up then try. i garauntee youll get heat at all times

Yep, filled it before headed to work and had heat. Unfortunatly most of what I put in is now under the truck in the parking lot haha. Auto Zone here I come!
