Headlight/Dimmer Switch Issue
'97 Jeep GC Laredo
Been searching on the web but couldn't find exact issue.
The gauge cluster/interior light dimmer switch is not working at all. The gauge lights are very dim and hard to see at night with the headlights on.
Pushing the switch up and down does nothing. Isn't all the way up supposed to turn on the interior lights?
Could it be failed solder joints? Or a corroded connector?
I haven't had the opportunity to look at it behind the dash.
Thanks

Welcome to CF!
Chances are it's bad solder joints. Most common cause, especially when it doesn't switch on the lights.
