Default Head Gasket Replacement Now No Spark

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7L V8, I replaced both head gaskets and now I do not get spark. The Jeep ran before I started, I can hear the fuel pump running, fuel gushing out the fuel rail port. Vehicle turns over, it started a little when I first tried to turn it over, sounded like not all cylinders were firing, smoke out the exhaust, had to press the gas peddle to the floor to almost start. Now I have no spark. I've checked fuses, replaced the cam sensor, cleaned the throttle sensor, checked all connections that I can find, I did not fill the power steering reservoir all the way, but has oil and antifreeze. Is there anything that I can check/do before taking value covers off to double check the timing?

As for timing, I placed both cam sprockets with V8 in 12 o'clock position. The passenger side sprocket (right) had a little play when placing chain on, but I matched up my pics of before with links etc.. This is my third jeep head gasket replacement, others have fired on first attempt. I'm up against the wall. Any help would be much appreciated.

There is no such thing as a "2004 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4.7L V8"

You have a GRAND Cherokee, and you have a technical question. This section is for general chat. There are specific sections for technical questions for different vehicles.
