hard to start and stalling

hey guys my friend owns a 96 jeep grand cherokee and she is having problems with it
she said sometimes its hard to start and it likes to stall in the middle of the street

Hi I have a diesel Laredo grand on a 1997 I have the same problem it's hard 2 start and stalls a few times when the engine is cold
