grand cherokee laredo 1998 v6 4.0 issues
hi there,
I am new here and I have some issues, I need your help please
my jeep Cherokee turns off by itself and the fuel clock sometimes goes to empty spot even if my tank is full, here is the list of what I have replaced>
crank position sensor
fuel pump
injectors
I have spent a lot of money trying to fix it and it keeps turning off.
I have asked to several technicians to check the computer but they have said that there is not a problem with the ECU. I don't know what else should I try.
today I was checking around the computer and I found a connector (photo), I don't know where it goes, maybe there is the problem ???
any ideas ??

This is going to sound dumb, stupid, and maybe even crazy.
Make sure all of your connections on the battery and at ends of cables are clean, and tight.
I had some off problems and poor idle, unable to idle were two.
When I replaced the terminals on the battery end of the cables my issues went away.
I still shake my head when I think about it, but once I figured out what was going on it all made sense.
