Default Grand cherokee body fit on a cherokee frame?

As the title states wanting to know if anyone knows if a grand cherokee body will bolt on a cherokee frame. I have a 99 gc that I'm selling with a bad engine and someone wants to buy it and swap bodies. Thanks

There is no frame...Cherokees are unibody.

Um, there is no "frame" to speak of. The Grand Cherokee and Cherokee are unibody constructed, not body on frame.

The frame is welded on and not compatible with other vehicles.

Sounds like this guy's never been under his Jeep before. You got a bridge for sale?

Its uniframe man. And plus if it was possible I wouldnt put a wj on a xj uniframe. That's a downgrade in uniframe strength.

Not only that. There is a body weight difference. My WJ weighs 3970 lbs curb weight.
