Grand cherokee awd
I've got a 98 jeep grand cherokee I've got the the np249 tc in it and I'm wanting to put the long arm suspension kit on it. Can I if I just leave the front driveshaft? And if I can or can't how do I fix it to were I don't have to worry about it

Welcome to CF!
DO NOT run a 249 without a front driveshaft! You'll cook the viscous clutch in it. Do lots of research on lifts before you commit to one. There's gobs of information on this forum to be sure. Look at the pictures posted of lifted ZJs to get an idea of what you want, even Private Message the guys that have what you're looking for to get pointers. A long arm kit requires changing the mounting points of the control arms and is a major job. How are your welding skills?
Depending on what you want it for, you may think about changing the t/case to a 231 or 242. Good luck with your project.
